The EU Drone Summit 2026 will bring together high-level representatives from the EU institutions, Member States and industry to take stock of progress made in the context of the EU Drone Strategy 2.0 and help shape the next steps towards a competitive, innovative and secure European drone market. The event is organised by the European Commission, with support from the Ministry of Transport of Belgium and the SESAR Joint Undertaking.

The event will take place at Egmont Palace, Place du Petit Sablon 8bis, 1000 Brussels, Belgium.

The Summit will open on 9 November (from 12:00 to 19:00) with a half-day of technical sessions and industry-focused workshops examining the practical, regulatory and operational challenges that must be addressed to enable drone operations to scale safely across Europe.

The second day, 10 November (from 09:00 to 17:00), will focus on high-level policy and strategic discussions on the future direction of the EU’s drone policy, industrial competitiveness, security and technological capabilities. It will consider how Europe can move from a strong regulatory and policy framework towards faster implementation, market development and deployment.
